Our History
Windy Willow all started with an apparent disconnect between people in rural and urban areas. Colleen has helped manage the Rice County Fair's children barnyard for years and loves watching the kids as well as parents learn about agriculture and where their food comes from. She thought why not do this for more than one week out of the year and help provide a fun and yet educational experience at the same time!
The site of Windy Willow has been in the family for 3 generations now, and Colleen thought what a better way to use her grandparents land they farmed than to teach people about farming!
